White Frill Wedding Cake

We created this White Frill Pomona wedding cake for the current issue of Wedding magazine on location in East Sussex.  This was to be for a Mediterranean inspired reception and I incorporated citrus foliage and fruits in the design around the base and top, created here by Philippa Craddock.

Pomona was the goddess of fruit trees and along with the romantic white sugar frills, I created a Mediterranean fruit emblem with golden olive leaves.  Our organic orange zest cake with orange blossom buttercream is the perfect filling.
