Cake Delivery & Collection

We are based in East Sussex just south east of Tunbridge Wells by the Kent and East Sussex border at our specialist boutique bakery and studio. You are most welcome to collect your finished order from us, packaged in our lovely cake boxes, from the studio by appointment. We have parking right outside our studio and a beautiful view. We can also deliver our cakes and confections within 15 miles of our TN5 7HE location dependant on availability. Personal delivery of our wedding cakes is available as well as full set up within 20 miles of our boutique bakery location. Boxed collection of your wedding cakes (one or two tiers only of cake – you may also include additional dummy tiers) and wedding favours is also available. We advise that any wedding cake of three or more tiers of cake must be delivered and set up at your venue using our professional hand delivery service.

(We may be able to deliver further afield on request. We have a minimum order value over certain distances, please enquire with your postcode).  

 

Pricing

 Pricing is dependant upon the size of cake and detail involved in the design. Please contact us for an estimated quote, but as a guide of what you can expect as an average:

Decorated Biscuit Favours (including clear wrapping & ribbon bow) from £3 each. Larger detailed from £5 each 

Cupcakes Smooth fondant domed decorated design cupcakes from £4-5 each. Buttercream decorated cupcakes £4 each

  Bespoke Celebration Cakes including decoration as an average guide for single tier cake designs – Vintage buttercream cake designs from £70(6″) £100(8″). Our signature buttercream decorated cake designs average £80(6″) and £120(8″). Smooth sugar paste finish cakes in our cookie cake design range average £120(6″) and £160(8″). Sugar paste bespoke designs with detailed sugar work like sugar flowers/3d sugar models from £150(6″) and £210(8″)  For larger and multi tiered cakes please enquire with design details.

Wedding Cakes Bespoke Celebration Cakes  an average guide are £650 – 750 for a decorated sugar paste covered design with sugar work in a 3 tiered cake serving 100 finger portions. For more intricate detailed designs and more sugar work/sugar flowers is additional cost. Buttercream covered wedding cakes average £450 – 500 in this size dressed with fresh flowers/fruit. Additional buttercream design work of multi tones, palette painting, piping and gold leaf design effects is additional cost. We also provide cupcake towers and top cutting cakes as well as dessert table creations.

You can expect our cakes and confections to be delicious, made with quality ingredients including real butter, free range eggs, fine grade flour and organic preserves and no preservatives. They are made in the days leading up to your event from scratch with skill and precision. We can also cater for gluten free or dairy free cakes. We create beautiful and unique exclusive designs using Jennie’s decade of professional cake design experience.

 

Ordering

 For celebration cakes and smaller orders, full payment is usually required in advance on booking, dependant on timescale you may book with a deposit. In summer and seasonal times we would advise booking well in advance with a deposit. For wedding orders a deposit is required on booking with the balance due 4 weeks before your event. We would advise at least 3-6 months notice for wedding orders and 6-12 months for larger, intricate designs and busy months but will do our best to accommodate at shorter notice when availability allows. We do ask that you have your wedding venue booked before any consultation which can be by telephone, email and zoom. We can also provide cake samples if required and have some open days at the studio where you can pre order. You may send us cake design inspiration or choose from our portfolio of designs, whilst design elements, colours and sizing can be changed to compliment your wedding details. Jennie will advise you on your options, taking everything into account and has over 10 years of industry experience in professional wedding cake decoration and design.
